I was trying to replicate a Sierra meadow in my parents' new yard in Monte Sereno. The garden was started in the summer of 1979, and this photo was taken circa May 1984
For 26 years (1989-2015) I worked as a gardener at Ferrari-Carano Winery in Healdsburg, CA. The photos below were taken there, and in my own gardens over the years.
